Brocca, an Italian eatery located in the trendy Mercat Villa Crespo (Buenos Aires, Argentina), faced the challenge of standing out in a competitive market environment. The pandemic’s impact necessitated a rebranding to appeal to new consumer trends and preserve the restaurant's rich culinary tradition.


My role: I led the creation of a new, modern brand identity. My work focused on aligning the brand with evolving customer preferences for takeaway while maintaining its essence of traditional, homemade Italian cuisine. This included redesigning packaging, enhancing in-store branding, and refining communication strategies.


Challenges: The primary challenge was reimagining an old-fashioned brand to make it more appealing in a modern food market setting, while retaining its authentic values and appeal amidst a global crisis.


Solutions: To address these challenges, a complete overhaul of the brand identity was undertaken. This included redesigning the packaging to suit takeaway preferences, developing engaging in-store branding that echoed the brand's tradition and quality, and crafting effective communication strategies to reach the target audience.


Impact: The rebranding of Brocca resulted in a refreshed and modern brand image that resonated well with customers. The new brand identity successfully reflected the quality and tradition of Brocca's offerings, leading to increased visibility and customer engagement in the competitive market space of Mercat Villa Crespo.
