"Verdadero o Falso" (True or False) was a game designed to educate users on identifying credible news sources. Supported by the Google News Initiative and in partnership with Sociopúblico, it addressed the challenge of misinformation among youth. Players scored points for correctly identifying the reliability of news items, competing against other players.
My role: I was responsible for guiding the "Verdadero o Falso" project from concept to completion. This included directing the initial brainstorming sessions and leading the development, design, and launch strategy.
Challenges: Creating an engaging yet educational experience that resonated with a younger audience, traditionally skeptical about such tools.
Solutions: Addressed by integrating game mechanics that reward critical thinking and analysis, making the learning process interactive and competitive.
Impact: The game was well-received, becoming a tool in schools and educational programs for teaching digital literacy.
